Educational Hubs
An after-school sport-and-study programme in areas of disadvantage, re-engaging young people with education through sport.
Offered to schools located in areas of disadvantage and low socioeconomic status, our Educational Hubs are an after-school activity with a core goal of providing a source of educational inspiration. The programme increases levels of physical activity and exposure to new sports, and re-engages young people with education under the guidance of our team of professional sports mentors, coaches and a qualified teacher.
Each session involves a one-hour sport session with a team of skilled coaches and a 15–20 minute workshop with a Sport Mentor and Victory Scholars. Our team facilitates a 1hr 20min after-school sport and study session for pupils and parents who want their children more involved in sport while remaining in an educational environment — completing homework and receiving mentoring through workshops.
By building a support network around young people, we give them the best possible chance of success and help make our mission — raising aspirations through sport — happen.
8 weeks · 60 minutes sport + 20 minutes workshop each week.
